CM Jagan to conduct aerial survey of flood-hit areas today
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be conducting an aerial survey of flood-hit areas on Monday evening. On Tuesday, the chief minister will assess the human and property loss in a review meeting with district collectors. Jagan already directed officials to set up temporary shelters for people living in low-lying areas and whose houses were damaged or washed away in flood water.
The CM wrote a letter to the Central government seeking immediate release of Rs 2,250 crore for rehabilitation and relief works. Jagan also urged the Centre to send a Central team to assess crop damage.
