Global Hunger Index: India ranks 94 among 107 countries
HYDERABAD: Global Hunger Index ranks released and India ranked 94 among the 107 countries. As per reports, India is in serious hunger category and experts said that lack of proper monitoring, implementation of processes, the approach of facing malnutrition and lack of performance by large states are the reasons behind the low ranking in GHI.
India ranked 102 out of 117 countries in the last year report. As per the report, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan also in serious hunger category but better than India and ranked Bangladesh ranked 75, Pakistan and Myanmar are in the 88th and 78th position.
