AP CM YS Jagan writes to Union Minister Amit Shah, seeks financial aid to state
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy dashed off a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah seeking financial aid to the state which incurred huge loss due to floods. According to the reports, CM YS Jagan requested Minister Amit Shah to send committee members to calculate the loss incurred in the state due to heavy rains.
He requested the Centre to grant Rs 2,250 cores financial aid to get out of the current situation. He mentioned that farmers of the state witnessed a huge loss and crops damaged in lakhs of hectares.
