Hyderabad's historical Golconda Fort wall collapsed

HYDERABAD: Heavy rains in Telangana disrupted the normal life and causing damages to the historical monuments. On Friday, a part of historical fort wall inside Golconda Fort collapsed and triggered panic among the historical buff and tourists. As per reports, the fort wall in front of Sri Jagadamika temple collapsed following the heavy rains. Tens of thousands of visitors across the make a beeline to this 13th-century monument in Hyderabad.
It is learnt that the officials conducted repair works to the Burj ten months ago. There is no tourists flow to the Golconda from the last few months due to Coronavirus lockdown. Locals alleged that the negligence of the officials leads to the damage to the historical fort.
