Indian student attacked by Philippine locals
Indian students face discrimination not only in the United States but also in the Philippines. Recently, a Tamil Nadu student was attacked brutally by the Philippine locals.
Reports suggest that Jawahar Srinath, a Tamil Nadu student, went to a shop in the evening hours on Thursday. He was allegedly attacked with stones by three miscreants showing an example of racial discrimination.
The friends of Jawahar Srinath took him to a hospital for treatment as he received severe injuries on his face. His teeth got broken. The students have complained to the local police station. Indian students pursuing the MBBS course in the Philippines are very much worried about their future.
