AP schools asked to remove caste, religion coloumn
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh government issued circular to the school managements and educational institutes in the state asking to not mention caste and religion of the students in the attendance registers. Vadrevu Chinaveerabhadrudu, Director, Schoo Education issued a circular ordering the schools to remove the caste and religion from the attendance registers.
He also asked the school managements to stop writing the names of girl students with red ink. The Director of School of Education in another circular mentioned that schools will reopen from 2nd November with 50 per cent attendance of teachers. Click the video for more information.
