Andhra Pradesh government crossed the limits: Former Delhi High Court Justice RS Sodhi
NEW DELHI: Delhi High Court former justice RK Sodi asserted that the Courts have the judicial review rights. Reacting to the letter written by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to the CJI, former justice RK Sodhi said that the Indian Constitution mentioned clearly about the line between judiciary and Legislative. He said Andhra Pradesh government crossed the line (Lakshman Rekha) and the acts will demoralise the stability of the people. He said that the chief minister doesn't know how to address a letter, who to address and doesn't know simple protocols.
He said that even the governments changed according to the time but the Courts will remains ever. Former justice RK Sodhi said that targeting judiciary is very dangerous. He said anyone can criticise the judgements but judges are not answerable. He further added that states didn't belongs to Chief Ministers and he is not the owner of the state, he is a functionary of a state.
