Telangana government failed in flood rescue: TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar
HYDERABAD: TPPC chief Uttam Kumar lashed out at Telangana government after failing to control the flood situation in Hyderabad. Congress leader Uttam Kumar visited the flood-affected areas in Hyderabad and enquired about the situation of the people. Speaking to the media, Uttam Kumar said that KCR and KTR failed to handle flood situation in Hyderabad. Reacting to a question, Uttam Kumar questioned why still Hyderbad people facing problems during floods if the government spent Rs 67,000 crore on development works from the past six years.
He alleged that majority of the funds gone into their pockets. He criticised that the TRS government running the government with the support of police. Uttam Kumar demanded the government to provide basic essential materials, some amount to the flood victims. He asked to restore the power in the areas.
