Elephant tramples forest employee to death in Andhra Pradesh
CHITTOOR: In a tragic incident, a forest department employee was trampled to death by an elephant Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district on Wednesday late evening. According to the sources, a charged elephant attacked the vehicle of the forest department and crushed the jeep driver Satish to the death. He is working as a driver in the Chittoor West Division of the Forest Department.
The incident took place near Diguva Kanthalacheruvu village of Yadamarri Mandal. As per reports, another employee who is on the vehicle escaped from the attack. The incident took place when the forest officials were on patrol in between the two states. This is the fourth incident in the district and officials alerted the villagers, asked not to step out of their houses alone.
