Delhi HC Bar Association condemns CM Jagan’s letter to CJI against SC judge
The Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) on Wednesday passed a resolution condemning AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy writing a letter to the Chief Justice of India against Supreme Court judge NV Ramana. The DHCBA said that allegations levelled against the SC judge are insulting the judiciary.
Writing a letter to the CJI amounts to contempt of court, the association stated. The DHCBA advised the AP CM to stop interfering in the judiciary. In the resolution, the body of lawyers mentioned that Ramana worked as Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court with integrity.
