Madras High Court warns superstar Rajinikanth
The Madras High Court on Wednesday warned Tamil superstar Rajinikanth of imposing cost after he moved the court against the Greater Chennai Corporation’s property tax demand of Rs 6.5 lakh for his Sri Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam. It is located at Kodambakkam in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The actor brought to the notice of the High Court that no revenue was generated from his function hall as it was lying vacant from March 24. The High Court faulted the hero for rushing to the court within a week after submitting a representation to the Chennai Corporation.
