AP capital set up in Amaravati as per central law: TDP MP Kanakamedala
TDP Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar on Saturday said that Amaravati was declared as capital based on the AP Reorganisation Act. Speaking to the media, the MP stated that the principal seat of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh was notified at Amaravati by the Presidential notification. The AP government has no right to amend the Central Act, he mentioned. He criticised the YSRCP leaders and ministers for speaking against the High Court verdicts in an open platform. Judiciary is the only independent system in the country, he added.
