Andhra Pradesh: Former MP Harsha Kumar is ready to rejoin Congress party
AMARAVATI: Former Amalapuram MP Harsha Kumar said he is ready to rejoin Congress party soon and waiting for the response from High Command. He also said that it needs more powerful law than Nirbaya Act to prevent atrocities against women. Addressing the media, Harsha Kumar said the government should create fear among the people on laws and it will prevent the crime rate. He expressed an opinion that strict punishments will prevent crimes against women.
Reacting to a question, Harsha Kumar said he is ready to rejoin Congress party and Congress High Command is holding talks regarding his joining. In 2014, Congress High Command expelled six Andhra Pradesh MPs and Harsha Kumar is one among them.
