Google to delay Play Store fee decision in India till March 31
06-10-2020 Tue 15:00
Updating Play Store policies across the world for app developers, Google recently made it mandatory for developers to use its in-app payment system. Under which it would take a 30 per cent fee from app developers. However, recent issues with major developers in India, mainly Paytm, have cropped up allegations of unfair practice and monopoly by Google in the app space. Further reports suggest that a coalition has been formed by Indian startups to counter Google Play Store policies. Facing the heat, Google has announced that the policy change has been delayed in India till March 31, 2022.
