Centre will resolve river water dispute between Telugu states amicably: Shekhawat
Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Saturday said that the Central government will resolve the river water dispute between two Telugu states amicably, as per the provisions and powers of the Constitution in the Apex Council meeting scheduled on October 6 in Delhi. “The best way is to resolve the issues by sitting and talking together,” he stated. To a question, Shekhawat mentioned in Tirupati that pending bills related to the Polavaram Project were cleared. The Central government will reimburse Polavaram bills once the state government submits them, he added.
