Court gives clean chit to TTD Trust board member Sekhar Reddy
TIRUPATI: The special court dealing with CBI cases related to Bank financial issues gave a clean chit and dismissed the case filed against Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) trust member J Sekhar Reddy and five others citing the lack of evidence. According to the reports, CBI submitted the report to the special court that they have no evidence to prove the allegations claimed on Sekhar Reddy. Therefore, the special court dismissed the case filed against him and others.
Earlier, during income tax raid at J Sekhar Reddy and his associate's residence aftermath demonetization, officials seized Rs 12 lakh old currency and Rs 8 crore new currency. Sekhar Reddy expressed happy over courts decision and said he didn't involve in any money laundering cases. He added that money and gold seized on the premises of his having valid records.
