Union Minister Suresh Angadi passes away
NEW DELHI: Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi took his last breath on Wednesday at All India Medical Institute of India (AIIMS). The minister was tested positive for deadly Coronavirus on 11th September and was admitted to AIIMS. He was asymptomatic and requested everyone who contacted him to get tested if found any symptoms. On Wednesday, the minister passed away while battling with Coronavirus.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of the minister and tweeted as "Shri Suresh Angadi was an exceptional Karyakarta, who worked hard to make the Party strong in Karnataka. He was a dedicated MP and effective Minister, admired across the spectrum. His demise is saddening. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this sad hour. Om Shanti." Various political party leaders expressed their condolences to Angadi family members.
