CM YS Jagan Delhi tour highlights: Why CM Jagan met Amit Shah twice?
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's recent tour Delhi has been creating ripples in state politics. His tour has grabbed the attention. CM Jagan meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah twice is turning many heads and leading to numerous speculations. CM Jagan talked to the Union Minister on Tuesday for 50 minutes, and today he spoke with Union Minister Amit Shah for 40 minutes. Reports suggest that CM Jagan raised Polavaram, Irrigation projects issues and sought for pending funds after the state bifurcation process. CM Jagan has reportedly discussed with Union Home Minister over Amaravati land scam, Cybernet scam and the likely CBI probe on it. AP CM has reportedly sought special category package keeping in mind the revenue hit state economy and affecting industrial development of the state due to covid and other factors. It has been revealed by YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Pilli Subhas Chandra Bose.
Rajya Sabha member Mopidevi Venkata Ramana said CM Jagan's Delhi tour is mainly aimed at the aspects of state development. CM Jagan has also raised the sanctioning of the revised estimation of the Polavaram project, Mopidevi said. Further, he said, CM Jagan, got assurance from the centre on pending Rs 3800 crore funds.
Earlier CM Jagan also met Jal Shakthi Minister Shekhavath and got assurance from him about the release of Polavaram project funds and the interlinking issue of Krishna and Godavari rivers.
