France: Police mobilised as Eiffel Tower cordoned off amid 'bomb' alert
An anonymous call made armed Police cordon off the landmark area in France, i.e. Eiffel Tower. The area has been evacuated. Explosives teams are searching for the objects if any, lying near the Paris landmark. The entire Eiffel Tower has been cordoned off except the Police and a limited number of staff.
Armed officers could be seen in alert position at a cordon set up on nearby roads. Roads leading to the Eiffel Tower have been closed while people are being told to avoid the area immediately. The Eiffel Tower is closed now until further notice.
