CM Jagan to offer silk clothes to Tirumala temple today; Oppn leaders put under house arrest
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would reach Tirupati from Delhi on Wednesday evening. He would present silk clothes to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple. On Thursday morning, YS Jagan would participate in Srivari seva along with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa.
Later, the chief minister would lay the foundation stone for the guest house to be constructed by the Karnataka government at a cost of Rs 200 crore. The Tirupati police have placed the BJP and TDP leaders under house arrest as both parties decided to stage a protest demanding YS Jagan to sign a non-Hindu declaration at Tirumala temple.
