Opposition trying to capitalise on Tirumala declaration: Minister Venugopala Krishna
BC Welfare Minister Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna on Wednesday visited Tirumala temple and offered prayers to the presiding deity. Later, speaking to the media, the minister alleged that opposition is trying to gain political mileage by making the Tirumala declaration as an issue.
The minister stated that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had expressed his faith in Lord Venkateswara by reaching Tirumala along the Alipiri footpath. Venugopala Krishna has accused TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of obstructing the development of the state by filing petitions in the High Court.
