AP CM YS Jagan asks Roads and Buildings department to cancel tenders, invite new bids
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy directed the Roads and Buildings department to cancel the tenders and invite new tenders. According to the reports, the AP government cancelled the proposed road development works by taking a 70 per cent loan from the New Development Bank (NDB). A project worth of Rs 6,400 works for constructing 3,000 km roads projects were cancelled.
Transport, Roads and Buildings Department Principal Secretary M T Krishna Babu said that CM YS Jagan decided to provide another chance for more bidders. He further added that CM YS Jagan wants transparency and no chance of allegations in the project.
