Centre declares Telangana as Fluoride free state, KTR tweets
HYDERABAD: The Centre declared Telangana as a Fluoride free state in a statement released. Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) shared the information through his Twitter handle. He said at the time of Telangana state formation, there exists a total of 967 Fluoride affected villages in the state and now it reached zero. He said after the implementation of Mission Bhagiratha, which aimed to supply drinking water to every household in the state, the Fluoride cases come down to zero.
KTR took to Twitter and tweeted as "No of Fluoride affected villages at the time of formation of #Telangana was 967!! After the successful implementation of the #MissionBhagiratha, the number has come down to Zero. This is an excerpt from an official statement in parliament by Govt of India."
