Sangareddy: Telangana government cracked the whip on Kamareddy RDO for allegedly having connections with irregularities in a land assignment. According to the reports, Narender worked as Tehsildar of Jinnaram Mandal, Sangareddy in 2013. Sources said that the Narender has illegally assigned Rs 80 core worth land number 181 at Khajipally village in Jinnaram, Sangareddy to some persons aligned with other officials.
It is learnt that the Narender allegedly registered the 20 acres of government land under ex-servicemen quota and is alleged that he forged the signature of the then MRO Parameshwar. As per reports, the person applied for NoC for the land in 2019 at Sangareddy Collectorate office.
The scam came into the light after a slip found in the file from Tehsildar office and slip contained the conspiracy on how to change the land records. Sangareddy Collector Hanumantha Rao ordered officials to investigate the matter and later submitted the reports to the government on 25th April.
