Kangana Ranaut seeks Rs 2 crore compensation for demolition of office

MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut filed a petition at Bombay High Court against Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) seeking Rs 2 crore for demolishing her Bandra office. It is known that BMC demolished her office in Mumbai citing illegal construction and stopped after Bombay High Court issued status quo passing stay order. The actress shared several videos of the demolished building.
It is learnt that valuable movable properties like rare artworks, chandeliers, sofa, etc demolished by BMC. Reports said that BMC listed 14 violations at her office. It mentioned that office was constructed at the place meant for a toilet and toilet was built at the place meant for a kitchen.
