Centre plans 7 more bullet train projects at Rs 10-trillion cost - Tv9

The central government has been making plans to invest Rs 10 trillion on the developments and introduction of the seven new bullet train projects.
The seven new routes to be introduced are Delhi-Varanasi (865 km), Mumbai-Nagpur (753 km), Delhi-Amritsar (459 km), Mumbai-Hyderabad (711 km), Delhi-Ahmedabad (886 km), Chennai-Mysore (435 km), and Varanasi-Howrah (760 km).
The first Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail project covers a stretch of 508.17 km till October 2028. It is getting delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic that hit the opening tenders and land acquisition process.
Indian Railways has presented a blue print report to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
