Centre backs CM Jagan's 3 capital plan: Senior lawyer & YSRCP MLA reacts
The Centre on Thursday backed the CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government’s three-capital plan. An additional affidavit presented by the Union home ministry stated the Andhra Pradesh high court that there is no stipulation in the law that requires Andhra Pradesh to have only one capital. It further denied claims that a three-capital plan was a violation of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014.
Reacting to it, the senior lawyer Rajendra Prasad has commented on the singular and plural phrase under the general clause act concerning three capital plans. The center has given clarity on the three-capital plan, the lawyer concluded.
YSRCP MLA Jogi Ramesh said that the decentralization of power is sure to happen whatever the case may be.
