Telangana government scraps VRO system, orders collectors to collect records before 3 PM
HYDERABAD: Telangana government took a sensational decision to scrap the Village Revenue Officer (VRO) system and ordered all the district Collectors to collect all the records from the revenue department before 3 PM today and need to submit to the government by 5 PM. VRO expressed dismay over the decision of the government scrapping the VRO system to put a check to the corruption.
VRO's questioning the government about their situation after scrapping the VRO system and they raising many doubts over the government decision. It is learnt that the government is going to introduce a new Revenue Act in the state. Click the video for more information.
