Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the fourth longest-serving non-Congress Prime Minister in Indian history, after the former Prime Minister's Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh. He has surpassed BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who worked for 2273 days as the Prime Minister of India.
Narendra Modi became the 14th Prime Minister of the nation on May 26th, 2014. For the second time, he became the PM again on May 30th, 2019. Reports suggest that PM Modi will have 2,273 days in office as of August 14th, 2020 and on August 15th, 2020 he will break Vajpayee’s record.
