Russia is ready to launch 'world's first COVID-19 vaccine tomorrow - Sakshi

HYDERABAD: Russia is going to register its vaccine for Coronavirus on 12th August. It is the first Coronavirus vaccine in the world to get register. According to the sources, the Russian health minister said that the vaccine will be vaccinated to senior citizens and the medical professionals first. The mass production of COVID-19 vaccine will start from October.
It is known that the Gamaleya Research Institute and the Russian Defence Ministry are jointly developing the vaccine candidate for Coronavirus. Earlier, WHO warned the Russian officials to follow the guidelines while developing the vaccine. It is learnt that the vaccine will be tested on 1,600 members after the registration to ensure safety.
