APS files petition in HC against AP Decentralisation & CRDA Repeal Acts

The Amaravati Parirakshana Samiti (APS) on Monday filed a petition in the High Court against the gazette notification issued regarding the AP Decentralisation and CRDA Repeal Acts after Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan gave asset to both bills on Friday. In the petition, the APS requested the High Court to stop the implementation of both Acts. The petitioner also pleaded with the High Court to declare the GS Rao and High-Power panels as illegal. The High Court will take up the petition for hearing on Tuesday. The TDP, Jana Sena, Congress, CPI, and CPM are opposing the decentralisation of AP capital.
