BCG vaccination ‘slows down’ Covid-19 spread, says study
One of American research papers has stated that the BCG vaccination has ‘slowed down the spread of the corona infection. Earlier, the anti-tuberculosis vaccine’s ability to protect against Covid-19 has been questioned.
A medical journal brought out by the American Association for the Advancement of Science said that countries using the mandatory BCG vaccination slowed down the infection and also slowed down the death rates during the first 30 days of the coronavirus outbreak in their country.
The journal in the US has come out with statistical data of lower death rate compared with the previous months.
