Dalit groups gherao Minister Taneti Vanitha in Rajahmundry

Women Development and Child Welfare Minister Taneti Vanitha, Andhra Pradesh State Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman and MLA Jakkampudi Raja, MLA M Nagarjuna and other YSRCP leaders on Wednesday visited the hospital and consoled the Dalit youth, who was thrashed and head tonsured by police. While leaving the hospital, Dalit communities have gheraoed the minister and MLAs demanding justice for the Dalit minor girl, who was gang-raped. Vanitha and MLAs have assured them that the accused will not be spared. The police arrested the gang-rape accused and cops in assault case of Dalit man.
