Too soon to say whether recovered COVID patients lose immunity with time: Scientists
Recent studies said that it is too soon to say whether people with lowered levels of novel coronavirus-blocking antibody levels after recovery are at risk of contracting the disease on re-exposure to the virus. Scientists say at this juncture they can not say whether COVID-10 patients lose immunity with time after lowering the antibodies level. They claim that specialised cells found in the immunity system are more likely to prevent them from the corona attack.
Some scientists claim that mere lowering the antibodies level after a certain period may not invite the risk of the coronavirus. They said at least one more year is needed to get all the required verified data of the investigation process.
