The New England Journal of Medicine on Tuesday released a statement stating that a Covid-19 vaccine developed by the biotechnology company Moderna along with the co-operation of the National Institutes of Health has been found to induce immune responses in all of the volunteers who received the vaccine in a Phase 1 study.
The journal said the early results showed that the vaccine performed well and further revealed that it triggered an immune response with little side effects showing chills, headache, fatigue, muscle pain, pain at the injection site. Moderna has stated in a press release on Tuesday that the vaccine is likely to be expected to begin later this month a large Phase 3 trial.
