The study researchers from the University of Southern California in the US have reportedly found a path toward increasing the human lifespan. According to the study published in the Journal of Gerontology: Biological Sciences, the fruit fly Drosophila species were targeted. In the clinical trials, the drug mifepristone extends the lives of female flies that have mated.
Scientists believe that it may also apply to human beings. The Scientists of South California have understood that in the human, the mifepristone decreases reproduction and increases the immune system and adds that it might also increase life span.
