Balakrishna asks CM Jagan to make Hindupur as district headquarters
Tollywood actor and MLA Balakrishna on Monday wrote a letter to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, asking the latter to declare Hindupur, the second-largest city in Anantapur district, as district headquarters. He brought to the notice of the CM that 400 acres acquired by the APIIC at Maluguru village in Hindupur mandal are sufficient to set up district head offices. The MLA also asked the CM to set up a government medical college in Hindupur. A copy of the letter written to Jagan Reddy also forwarded to Chief Secretary Nilam Sawhney.
