Viral Video: 15-ft long King Cobra spotted in village, Tamil Nadu

TAMIL NADU: A 15-foot-long King Cobra was captured by forest officials from a village near Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The snake was found in the village of Narasipuram in Thondamuthur, Coimbatore. The forest authorities rescued the snake from the village and later released in Siruvani forest area.
The village is settled in the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountain in the Western Ghats Mountain Range. The Western Ghats is a hub for different varities of flora and fauna, is an abode to the world's longest poisonous snake, King Cobra. It is said that four King Cobras were rescued in Coimbatore for the last eight months.
