The sanitization cleaning work is in progress in the palace and likely to open on Monday. Reports suggest that the Mysore palace was closed for tourists from March 15 to 22, in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the Union Health Ministry, Karnataka has witnessed 28,877 COVID-19 positive cases so far. There are 16,531 active cases in Karnataka, and 11,876 persons got cured.
