US bans Pakistan International Airlines flights over pilot license
HYDERABAD: The US Department of Transportation has denied permission for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to conduct charter flights to the United States. According to the sources, the US citing the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) concerns over the Pakistani pilot certifications. Pakistan grounded nearly a third of its pilots last month after finding that they might have false certificates.
Pakistan Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan termed licences of the 262 Pakistani pilots “dubious”. The US officials said that they imposed the ban on Pakistan International flights due to the recent suspicious pilot licences. Click the video for more information.
