Retired teacher stabs Tahsildar to death in the presence of police, revenue staff
A retired headmaster by name Venkatapathi has stabbed Tahsildar Chandramouli to death in the presence of police and revenue staff at Tuppadahalli village in Kolar district, Karnataka. Tahsildar went to the village for conducting a survey regarding a land dispute. Venkatapathi had shown documents to Chandramouli claiming that land belongs to him. He entered into an argument with surveyors asking them not to take up a survey. Tahsildar had tried to stop the retired headmaster, who was arguing with surveyors. In a bit of anger, Venkatapathi stabbed the knife in the chest of Tahsildar and sped away. The police caught the retired employee.
