Centre focuses on stopping coronavirus cases rise in Hyd
The Central government has focused its attention on stopping the rise of coronavirus cases in Hyderabad and its neighbouring districts. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy on Wednesday met Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan in Delhi and discussed measures should be taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Speaking to the media, Kishan Reddy said that the Central government has been extending support to states including Telangana state for taking steps in containing coronavirus spread. A central team led by Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal has inspected Covid-19 hospitals in Hyderabad and held meetings with state officials, he mentioned.
