LG Polymers CEO including 12 others arrested in gas leak incident
VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra Pradesh police arrested LG Polymers CEO, two directors, eight officials in gas leak incident in which 12 people died and more than 500 fell sick. According to the sources, on Tuesday night, police arrested 12 members including the CEO of LG Polymers company in the styrene vapour leak incident.
It is known that the High Power Committee constituted by the AP Government submitted the report to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It is alleged that very poor protocols, failure of following the safety protocols during the emergency time caused the incident. Click the video for more information.
