The Chinese ambassador to Britain Liu Xiaoming said that Britain will have to face the consequences if it treats China as a hostile country in deciding whether to permit Huawei to participate in the country's telecommunications networks. According to the sources, Liu Xiaoming said reporters that" We want to be your friend and your partner. But, if you want to treat China, a hostile nation then Britain will have to face the consequences."
