AP govt postpones date for distribution of house sites
The AP government has postponed the date for distribution of 30 lakh house sites to beneficiaries as the case is pending in the Supreme Court. Another reason for postponement was said to be a spike in coronavirus cases in the state.
The fresh date was fixed on August 15 from the present date of July 8. Recently, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting with officials on distribution of house sites. The state government had readied 43,000 acres for distribution in which 16,000 acres of private land was acquired.
