Facebook partners with CBSE to offer online programmes in its education push in India - Etv

Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) and Facebook have joined hands to offer free training courses on digital safety and virtual reality for students and teachers. It will help to build diverse learning communities. The training program will be conducted for three weeks. Ten thousand teachers will be trained on virtual reality, and 10,000 students will be given training on digital safety.
In the second phase, CBSE will launch the virtual reality training program for 30,000 students in each category. Modules on online abuse, bullying, fake news, and misinformation will also be taught during the training period.
