Bubonic Plague cases reports in China
Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, a suspected case of bubonic plague was reported in northern China. According to the sources, the suspected case of bubonic plague was recorded by a hospital in Bayannur on Saturday. The local health authorities said that there is a possibility of spreading human plague epidemic in the city and the public should improve self-protection awareness. Sources said that on 1st July, two suspected cases of bubonic plague cases reported in Khovd province in western Mongolia.
It is learnt that two brothers of the locale contaminated with bubonic plague and undergoing treatment in the hospitals. Sources said that the brothers ate marmot meat and hospital authorities warned the people not to ate marmot meat. Officials identified 146 people who are on contact with persons and isolated them.
