Telangana migrant workers stranded in Iraq, requests Telangana government for help
HYDERABAD: A couple of Telangana migrant workers facing severe problems in Iraq amid the Coronavirus pandemic and requesting the Telangana government to rescue them. According to the sources, Telangana migrant workers in Iraq expressed grief that no flight arrived to take them to India under Vandebhart Mission. Sources said that they turned as illegal residents after their Visa and working license date expired. They said that the Kurdistan government imposed fine to them on the issue and they applied in Indian Consulate for exemption of fine with the help of a social organisation.
It said that they were not allowed to enter into the flight and alleged that India consulate official deceived them by sending Bihar and Uttar Pradesh people to Delhi. They requested the Telangana government for help to take them to their hometowns. Click the video for more information.
