Bharat Biotech develops India's first COVID vaccine candidate, gets nod for human trials - Etv

HYDERABAD: Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, Hyderabad's Bharat Biotech announced COVAXIN becomes India's first COVID vaccine candidate got a nod from Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for human trials. Reports said that it is the first vaccine got a nod from DCGI for phase I and II human trials.
It is known that Bharat Biotech has collaborated with Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and National Institute of Virology, Pune in developing the vaccine for the virus. Sources said that the human trails will be started across India in July. Click the video for more information.
