Delhi gets world's largest COVID care centre

NEW DELHI: Amid increasing Coronavirus cases, Delhi's Chattarpur Radha Soami Satsang Beas centre has been transformed into a 10,000-bed COVID-19 care centre and is the world's largest COVID care centre. According to the sources, the centre was named as Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre and Hospital'. Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Delhi chief minister Kejriwal visited the centre. Sources said that the COVID care centre will offer its services from 1st July and the doctors from the Indian Army, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and other paramilitary forces will render their services.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to Twitter and tweeted as "I applaud our courageous @ITBP_official personnel, who would be operating this Covid Care facility during these trying times. Their commitment to serve nation and people of Delhi is unparalleled. Modi govt at the centre is committed to provide all possible help to its citizens."
